Bathroom fittings are the taps, showers and valves you use every day, so they're worth choosing with care. This guide covers the main ones sold in Pakistan: Muslim showers, bath sets, bib cocks and sink cocks, with live prices from our shop and what to check before you buy.
Muslim shower price
A Muslim shower (also called a toilet shower, health faucet or bidet spray) is the hand-held spray beside the toilet. It has three parts: the spray head, a flexible hose, and a holder on the wall. The hose connects to a valve at the wall point.

Head only, or a full set? If the hose and holder are fine and only the head leaks or has clogged, a replacement head costs less. Buy a full set for a new bathroom, or when the hose has cracked or kinked. Fitting one yourself? Follow how to install a Muslim shower.
Materials. "CP" means chrome-plated. Stainless steel doesn't rust and is common on full sets. Plastic heads are light and cheap but scratch more easily.

Before you buy a set with a mixer, check that your bathroom has both hot and cold lines at the right points. A mixer needs both; a point with only a cold line can feed a plain tap.
Bib cocks, sink cocks and other taps
- Bib cock: a wall tap whose thread points straight back into the wall. Used over buckets, for washing machines and in kitchens.
- Sink cock: a tap for a basin or kitchen sink. The pillar type stands on the sink with its thread pointing down through the hole; the wall type fixes to the wall above the sink. Check which one your sink needs.
- Shower head: the fixed overhead shower, fed from a wall mixer or valve.

Thread sizes and connection pipes
Most household taps and showers in Pakistan use a ½ inch thread, the same size as the female threaded elbow at a standard wall point. A different thread needs an adapter, so check before you buy an imported tap.
A basin tap or a geyser connects to its wall point with a flexible connection pipe (a braided hose). Measure from the wall point to the tap inlet and buy a hose a little longer, so it doesn't pull tight. We sell connection pipes for this.
Hard water and limescale
Where the water is hard, white limescale builds up in shower heads, tap aerators and Muslim shower nozzles, and the spray gets weak or uneven. Unscrew the head, soak it in white vinegar for a few hours, then rinse it and rub the nozzles with a soft brush. Avoid acid toilet cleaners on chrome, which can strip the plating.
Before you replace a fitting
- Shut off the water: close the valve for that bathroom, or the main valve. Our ball valve vs gate valve guide explains the two kinds.
- Open the old tap to drain what's left in the line.
- Take the old fitting to the shop, or photograph it next to a tape measure and send it to us on WhatsApp. We'll match it.
